Co-working office space
Eelke and I are in the process of investigating office space options in Delft to form a coworking space of some sorts. Eelke currently is somewhat more urgently looking for living quarters, having recently returned from Berlin.
For the coworking space we want to have a 20-25m2 office (space to be negotiated) in Delft’s center where we can both go every day to keep our semblance of office hours, exchange ideas and create a space where people can find us.
I’m aiming for 2-4 people in the office to start with, preferrably with some fixed people but with some flex spaces as well. If that goes well, we can always expand.
If you know of anything suitable or if you are interested in joining us get in touch. We think it can be a lot of fun and add to our creativity and productivity.

.
PS. buiten het centrum is er op de Rontgenweg een bedrijfsverzamelgebouw met ruimtes vanaf 25 m2 http://www.delft-facilities.nl/nieuws/bedrijf-kantoorruimte-te-huur

February 7th, 2008Front looks fun, I’ll drop them an e-mail. And atelier space could definitely be an option. I’m going to stroll around Delft tomorrow to check stuff out.
Bacinol is full (sort of) but the guy managing that said he had some free space in the Radex building (way out in the TU-wijk). Not quite interested in that, though.
You don’t need to have a company to participate.

you might want to subscribe to the coworking mailing list on google groups if you haven’t already. some good tips there and they have a nice international map of spaces for some extra exposure.

February 8th, 2008For The Hague: a former KPN building, Binckhorstlaan 36 (next to the railway in the north of the Binckhorst) has last year been sold to Vestia Project Development and is now used for small firms (Studio Vrugt, Posad, etc.)

February 8th, 2008The radex building is rather out of the way and was quite expensive - Cris and I looked at it a long time ago for Ed-ME.

February 8th, 2008Radex is off the table anyway because I don’t want to stray much out of Delft city center.
Tijs is looking into the KPN building I believe, if we were into that, I’m sure there are tons of options in both R’dam and the Hague.
I’ve sent the people at Front an e-mail.

February 8th, 2008The Nieuwe Langendijk has some vacant spaces at the moment, because the shops that were in there went bankrupt because of the construction of the Koepoort carpark. That would make an office with an open atmosphere. Also the Oosteinde could provide a similar setting.
